New seat leather

Noticed very slight wear on drivers side bolster & a handful of cracks on the base piping, warranty accepted the claim & am waiting for the complete leather seat to be ordered from Germany as its an individual part

I have something similar to that first pic but on the side bolster of the base rather than the back.

Was wondering if I'd be able to warranty it. Car is only 13 months old... Not impressed to be honest...

My last 2 had Boston Leather and this one is Dakota. Neither of those showed wear like this - even after 3 years...

Id be very surprised if they rejected your claim.

Not long after i bought my car i picked up my daughter from a party & it was raining that night, the following morning i went to hoover the car when i opened the passenger door i wanted to cry like a baby without its dummy ( photos will explain why).

Once i eventually got rid of the marks (approx 1 week of treating with various methods from hairspray, diluted white vinegar, numerous different cleaners for leather the piping started to loose its white colour, a friend suggested to claim under the manufactures warranty......i couldn't believe my luck when it got accepted obviously i kept quiet about the dye from her dress & me scrubbing for a week

I still think Mercedes are way ahead for interior/paint quality, maybe not for technology compared to BMW.

Guess the age of my previous cars interior/exterior?

I know the oyster Dakota I have is difficult to maintain. I actually need to replace the drivers seat bottom leather but the $1000+ cost is a tough pill to swallow.

The Merc above was 12 years old when i sold it, yet it looked and drove like a newish car, even the mats looked perfect.
