Show me your E90/1 splitters

I really think my E91 msport could do with a little more subtle attitude at the front, Ideally I'd like the OEM BMW carbon splitter extensions but that's £400. Anyone got any cheaper alternatives that they recommend ?

I just run unpainted, black eBay specials.

Not an absolute 100% perfect fit but good enough.

Thanks that's the sort of thing, mines a black car so might work in that finish or could get them painted. I'd like carbon ideally though !

I've been toying with the idea of getting some of these too, albeit for an E92, also black but I haven't found many pictures. I am worried they would just get lost with no contrasting colour to the bumper even if I went CF. They look great on white, red et.c. cars but I'm not sure about black.

These are the genuine carbon ones on a black E90. I love the look and the fact you can't see the carbon till you get closer.

I'd be paranoid about snapping them off on speed bumps or the like.

Pretty sure mine are cheap eBay copies wrapped in vinyl.

They have been on the car since I bought it and I would never take them off!

3 bmws and I can't see any of you using number plate holder. Interesting. Got myself pressed number plates and I am trying to find best way of fitting it without drilling. Tested number plate tape and it didn't work. Well work for a few days and I almost lost the plate.

Sticky Velcro pads! You can pull the plates off for cleaning too!

I use circular Velcro pads about 2inch diameter from Halfrauds.
3 per plate and never had any issues at all.

Ok will try it. Do you use number plate holder (that genuine colour coded) or number plates are sticked straight to the bumper without anything between. Sorry all questions but I just painted the front I don't know what to do to get best plate fitment.

Just stick one one Velcro pad to the bumper, the other to the plate. No plate holder or anything in between.

Holders suck, never look good especially on the front.

I use 3M Dualloc(?), plastic 'velcro' type thing, very strong, not the thinnest so the plates aren't quite flush, but never had an issue, means you can reposition them if they're not quite straight, remove to clean behind etc.

I just put old platic plates without holder bracket and looks better true. I will try with velcro pads on my pressed plates tomorrow.
