OEM MV3 Wheels - Value?
Hi,
Sorry new to all this. Just wanted to see what my OEM BMW Wheels are worth. They are the 18inch staggard fit wheels, fully refurbed by bmw and fitted with Brand New Bridgestone Runflats? I was thinking at least £600+? Cheers Stu |

Shite alloys unfortunately. I'm stuck with a set on my car. Unless you give them away for less than the value of the tyres on them you'll have a hard time selling. I've virtually given up trying to get any form of value for them. Just buy a new set and get it over and done with.

That's what I meant by no one wants them. The majority of people who are interested in changing their car in any way bought an M-Sport, and most of them had these wheels as standard on. I haven't even tried to sell mine, no point, just keeping them for when I sell the car.

Nah I disagree with some of these posts. I still think they are a desirable wheel.
If you think you are selling £4-500 worth of tyres with these so it makes it a viable purchase for anyone with low tyres with worn alloys, or like me if you have 17s also a cheaper way to upgrade vs lower quality reps with the same tyres. The reps are in fashion these days because the quality is good, but there's a reason they are replicas. Look at 4 year old reps on ebay vs 4 year old OEM there is a marked difference. |

I wouldn't call them shite. More that these days they're nothing special. A shite wheel is a stock 15" alloy on a Hyundai Snotrag 2.0 or whatever. It's all subjective, mind.

I have a set in the garage that need a refurb and some tyres. One of the fronts has a crack that needs welding. Reckon they're worth £150 at best. Decent set with decent tyres will always be £500+

I quite like them, they're better than my 161's. I was tempted by some of the offers ib the classifieds but I'm after non run flats, and I've got a long list of mods before I get onto cosmetics.

Personally I can't stand MV3s.
Style 189s look so much better on E90/91s

Nice to see some sense in here.
MV3's in good condition (i.e used but not needing a re-furb) with decent Runflats should be around £475 - £500. If they are freshly refurbed with brand new Runflats then obviously they would command a premium over that price! |
