diagnostic software for vanos problem

i have a 2011 e90 n51 my service engine soon light came on I pulled the codes using a cheep reader they came up, 2a32 and 2fa3. reset them they keep coming back google tells me 2A32 is the eccentric sensor, before I invest $500.00 and 5 hours of my time ,I would like to confirm. took it to an independent mechanic he pulled codes and told me the problem is the shift solenoid in transmission. he reset all codes now I get 2a32 2fa3 a34 2a36 2a39 2e7a. the one I could find point to vanos problem. I use to have coding software setup on a laptop but it drowned in a flood. I still have the hard drive but not the time to figure how to get it off a 15 year old hand drive and on to a modern computer ,
if some one could point me to some tools to read and diagnose vanos some thing that can activate the motor and check the limits, I have the cable I used for coding i am willing to buy, or download. I just need something soon that wont require hours of translating from German. It's been 3 or 4 years since I played with and of this stuff

thanks in advance Joe P.

Go to the coding forum and find a link and instruction to INPA.

Plenty of help to be found there.
