Hi all, does anyone know if the new X1 (UK) has LED lamps in the front fog lights and if they illuminate when turning as my 2013 3 series does?

1. The front foglights on all variants of the F48 X1 are halogen, regardless of whether the main headlights are Halogen or LED
2. On the F48 X1, the fog lights do not provide a cornering light function (they do not illuminate when you turn).

As far as I'm aware, you only get cornering lights with the LED headlights and they are contained within the main headlight unit.

Correct
They work very nicely and illuminate more than what a fog light would.

I swapped mine out to GP Thunder 7500 a long time ago. Tinted halogen bulb. Good match with no need to code out errors.

Not sure but I assume you could use them as long as you had the right bulb type. A lot of people like the Sylvannia Silver Star bulbs as replacements for the halogen headlights.

Has anyone tried these as a replacement for the halogen fog lights?

Philips 12834UNIX2

Wondering if they will cause any errors etc.
