E92 LCI Spoiler

Hi Guys

I am looking to purchase the following spoiler for my E92 http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/index...&product_id=51

Are these identical to the OEM ones (I can purchase a OEM one for approx £150 but it will then need to be painted (not sure how much that'd cost)

Can anybody share opinions on the product quality?

Any help/advice would be much appreciated

Bought mine from there over a year ago, no problems at all. Paint and fitting are fine.

As soon as my performance exhaust arrives I'm going to order one of these spoilers. Heard solid reviews across the forum about them. Sounds like you won't notice a difference between them and the oem ones, half the price as well.

Teddy at SSDD is a decent guy. Known him for years.

Should be fine tbh and can't really go wrong at that price for a painted spoiler.

I bought the same rear lip spoiler but for my E90 from Teddy at SSDD over a year ago. It was provided colour coded and the quality has been spot on. Had no issue with nor the tape it was provided with, its on solid.

This is the only decent picture of it I have to hand:

I bought one off eBay from Taiwan and colour match was perfect. In 4 years it hasn't budged a millimetre either.

Whats the consensus on how far back from the boot edge to fit them? Seems around 5mm?

Mine arrives tomorrow so want to get the fit spot on really.

Yeah I'd say that's fine. Mine is a similar spacing.

Just lining mine up, not stuck down yet (will finalise it tomorrow.)

Does this sort of spacing seem about right?

Can't really tell from that pic mate, I looked at a M3 previously which had a similar gap to the black E92 above. I could be wrong though...

looks great - how much did you pay for the performance exhaust if you don't mind me asking?

It was around £400 from bmw Blackburn. They have definitely dropped in price recently.
