Movable armrest
I purchased a movable armrest, and I would like to redye the leather. In order to do a good job, I would like to remove the leather pads, does anyone know how they are attached?

But from what I can tell, the leather is put on the frame and then the frame is glued together. ie... can't take apart. |

I'm going from Terra brown to black. I'm going to use a preval sprayer, and will see if I can get a nice result, with the pads on the armrest. |

Just finished next to last the final coat on my arm rest. I'll touch up a few spots apply the final coat and then wait 72 hours to apply the sealer.

And then I bought a very thin paint brush and basically spread the split as far as I could and did that are first and then let dry for an hour and went over it again. Then I brushed over all the seams, under the bottom edges and small sections and let them set for an hour and then touched them up a second time. Then waited another hour and then using a shoe polish sponge, I hit the major sections. I put 4 thin coats on the main sections and blended in all the edges. I'll be coating it with the protectant this weekend and will post new picks. |
