Best red tint for taillights ( LCI lookalike mod )
Where is the best place to buy the red tint for the taillights to put over the white section for the LCI look ?
I bought stuff of eBay a while back but it looked pink rather than red when applied, it looked terrible so i just removed it but having seen a few pics of this mod online I really like the look of it when you get the colour right. Anyone done this mod and got a good colour match ? Tint film or spray I'm not to bother just as long as it looks right

VHT Red Taillight Tint Spray.
Think a few on here have used it. It will certainly see you along until you bite the bullet and get LCI Tails. Don't fight it |

Any idea the best place to buy that stuff ? Had a quick look on eBay but it seems to be all international sellers.

The stuff i got was very thick even with just 1 layer.
I think if i can find a tint spray that will do the job i would rather go with that method as i think i could achieve a much tidier looking job. I started with the vinyl first more to see if i liked how it looked and if not i could remove it but now i know that i like it i would rather go with the permanent solution.

Yeah I tried the film myself. The pink look wasn't quite what I had in mind. So ripped it off after a week.
I thought about trying the spray but then thought "sod it" and bought the LCI's. To be fitted over Christmas. Can't wait! |

What's the going rate for LCIs these days? It's a mod I'm always thinking about. ECP never has one of the ULO inner lights in stock.
Is it still around £300 plus £50 for loom? |

Yeah you're still looking at around £300 for the E92 LCI's.
Then about £30ish for loom from CotswoldBMW |

I will post a picture later, issue is that the indicator light is now more red than orange when it flashes. |
