Comfort Access
My driver door comfort access lock/unlock seems to have stopped working suddenly. Passenger side door works just fine - anyone had this before - or know of a reset/work around before I get on the phone crying to my dealership? Thanks

Probably not it, but I keep my key in my shirt pocket when I drive (due to the fact it is the cheapest dankiest key ever made with mushy button and I want to avoid a random tailgate lift once I am parked in my garage),
and when I get out of the car and want to lock it sometimes it is blocked by my phone (that is also in my shirt pocket). When I try the passenger door works fine, just on driver's door it would ignore the lock completely - when I remove the key or the phone from the pocket it works fine. But I presume you tried with the key in different places, holding in your hand etc. Did you try with 2nd key, to rule out there is something wrong with key pairing? |

Picked up our X1 today and a key FOB doesn’t work with comfort access, the second one does work. Tried replacing the battery and even swapping the batteries and it seems to be FOB related since none of the buttons work. Was it just not programmed, is there a way to do it without going back to dealer?
