Video walkaround of the China only 2017 1 Series Sedan

Disable the sound as the background music is terrible!

Looks like an Active Tourer (and X1) interior to me...

It's only a matter of time before BMW's entry level sedan in the states is one of these FWD turds. Benz and Audi's entry sedans are FWD based, so BMW will eventually follow suit like they did with the X1.

Not bad for a daily driver in all four seasons. I'd do that car in black with red interior.

1 Series Sedan spotted in Munich

The 1 series is spotted in Munich: http://www.bimmertoday.de/2017/01/24...chen-erwischt/

So it means it will probably be sold in Europe at least...

Get ready ladies and gentlemen for a FWD BMW!

I would tend to agree with you that we'll eventually get a FWD entry level sedan. However, we already have pretty firm evidence that the next generation 2 Series coupe and convertible will remain RWD. As long as they keep building those cars on a RWD platform, there is the possibility they will add a RWD 2 Series Gran Coupe to the lineup based on that platform as well.

It's actually in the A3's segment rather than in the non-luxury segment with the Jetta and others.

The hatchbacks (both two and four door) are moving to the FWD UKL platform for their next generation. Assuming BMW adheres to their standard seven year cycle, we should see these debut next year.
