Taos 2017!

I'm taking the kids to Taos on President's day weekend.
Has anybody here been there before?
Any tips about restaurants, ski rentals, driving there, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

I've been there but it was in the summer. Beautiful place with great restaurants abound you really can't go wrong. It's a really "artsie" location if you know what I mean but some cool western history to the town as well.
The road is a two lane through the mountains but it's a decent road. We took i25 south out of Colorado and were looking for twisty road as we were on our touring motorcycles. I've been all through the region and it has to rank as one of the better areas to visit.
