n00bie here with a purchase question...

I want to purchase the follow:

2006 325i Invoice prices

$28,300 Base Price
$1,210 Steptronic 6-speed Automatic Transmission (opcode:205)
$1,820 On-board Navigation System w/voice recognition (opcode:609)
$2,640 ZPP Premium Package
BMW Universal Transceiver (opcode:319)
Power folding mirrors (opcode:430)
-Auto-dim exterior mirrors
-Auto-dim rear view mirror
Compass (opcode:4NA)
Dual power seats (opcode:459)
-Driver memory system
Lumbar support (opcode:488)
BMW Assist (opcode:639)
Leather upholstery
$430 Metallic Paint (Black Sapphire), black interior
$695 Destination & Handling

I'm located in Northern California, my questions are:

- how much over list price should I be negotiating for? When I bought my 2004 330ci I negotiated $1500 over list price.
- does this combination seem like it might need to get ordered from Germany or is it basic enough to be on a lot somewhere?
- I plan to put about $20,000 down on the car, what type of financing does BMW give? Should a car loan from a bank be a better bet?

Thanks in advance!!!!

500-1000k over invoice.
Your combo has a good chance of being available... but the nav may force an order.
BMW is offering about 6% on excellent credit. I went with a credit union at 5%.

Do it via email with the Internet SA for each dealer. Do the deal via email.

$500-$1000 including all the BS fees - training, MACO, blah blah.

yeah that's what I did for my 2004, I didn't even meet the dealer until the deal was settled, and that's when I picked up the car! The Internet is sweeeet!
