ExhaustValve Control On E92 328i
Has anyone ever done an exhaust valve controller on an e92 328i. I'm thinking of doing a cutout that bypasses the resonator and muffler while the other pipe is just the stock muffler. Or maybe run quads to the other side and have one side be straight piped and the other stock muffler.
I found http://exhaustmeister.com/ but I'm not too sure if it works on a 328i. Has anyone attempted this??? And yes I used the search function. |

Look up QTP cutouts. People have used them on many cars/platforms to create an exhaust dump bypassing whatever they want and it's electrically operated.

I was actually thinking the same, I just bought my QTP Electric Cutout couple weeks ago but looking underneath the car not alot of space to put it.
I haven't installed it yet since only way I thought of was hacking up the Y-pipe cutout to where it's just the pipe that actually holds the motor, placing it in a spot where the motor fits, and cutting a hole into the existing pipe and weld it on. Then running the wire through the storage box. |

Yea I personally would leave the exhaust completely stock and have a cutout in place after the secondary cats or even before if there is room. Perfect to run subtle stock sound when having people with you or something and then going all out when your alone haha
