So, I have a few issues with my car that all kinda started at the same time. The first one being the driver side mirror. Its basically dead, will not fold and will not adjust with the controls. Once in a while it will fold and then unfold and then it won't again. Pressing the memory buttons will cause the mirror to adjust but not to the correct memory position. Passenger side works fine. There is an active code for pivot motor failure for the driver side.

The next issue is that the tpms is inactive, this started about a week after the mirror problem started. I hooked up carly and does not even show a tpms module. I also tried my launch scan tool, which does read all module and bmw specific codes, this is a dealer level tool, it tells me that it cannot find the rdc module.

I have several communication fault codes for different modules, not sure exactly which ones right now. I have cleared them but they always return. I have also had fault codes for a couple different engine sensors, I cleared them and they do not return.

My first thought was the battery is on its way out, But looking at the eye on the battery, it is still green indicating it is good. Every time I hook up my smart charger, it is only showing about 20% charged. I have charged the battery at a 2 amp rate and also 10 amp. I tested the battery and it tests good. As far as I know, the battery is the original.

If anyone can confirm that it is my battery or if it is something else. I don't like just throwing parts at it hoping that it will fix it.

How old is the battery?

scan tool shows it has never been reset, so it looks like it is original, probably about 6 years old.
