Angel Eye H8 Bulb Connector Issue

Okay so my Driver side Angel Eye bulb blew, car has 82,000 miles on it.

My car 09 335. I received the H8 bulb to do my replacement, I noticed some of

the wires connected to the bulb was peeling, but most importantly, the

connector that goes to the H8 bulb, that connector, the little plastic piece on the side was

broken, Pictures below. Has anyone had connector issues, and how did you

go about fixing, thanks!

With the side piece no longer there, I tried to reconnect to see if it would still snap on an work, to my surprise it did, any issues to be concerned about, anyone had similar issues? Thanks in advance.

Seems like it burnt up. Best thing, go to a junkyard and cut one off another 3 with a broken headlight. Use car-part.com to find a 3 in your area. Try looking for like a 3 door or something. Also check Amazon for a h8 harness. You can get them new, just cut and replace

Definitely would consider getting a plug from a salvage yard or something of that nature.. In the meantime I'd wrap some of that or coat it with liquid electrical tape.. If those bare wires make contact it will put ur FRM module into a locked state and it will not send power to that bulb until you rewire and fix the wiring and then go in and code out the error.. It's no fun once it's at that point, ask me how I know lol..
