aftermarket gear knob

Looking to replace my worn gear knob with something nicer looking. There really don't seem to be much choice for what I'm after.

This looks okay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Simoni-Rac...UAAOSwg3FUfFcX

but how will the gaiter attach to it?

Also feel free to suggest other gear knobs. But it must not have an image of "racer boy" or "sports car" or "I'm a virgin".

Cheers

Best way to fit is: remove old knob (should just pull off). Push on new knob, then turn gaiter inside out and grip the top of the gaiter to the gearlever (as close as you can to the base of the knob) by use of a tightened cable tie.

I suppose that could work, maybe add some padding on the shaft to make it thicker if needed.

Thanks!

I've got the storm motorwerks v4 right now. I think the best looking is the e46 club sport gear knob. You can either cable tie the gaiter to the gear lever or buy an aftermarket gaiter which has an elasticated top.

BTW I took the gaiter off and it is not attached to the gear knob, it just sort stays in place all by itself, I think I was thinking of the hand brake gaiter...
