Hello I recently purchased a 2012 BMW 335i n55 e92, and I was wondering what things should I maintain often. The car has 29000 miles and it's pretty much new. I would like to keep it like for the rest of my owner ship. -Thanks

Follow the schedule in the Service and Warranty Information booklet . You can get one online, as well as the owner's manual, at BMWUSA.com if you do not have one, or if you want to review it without having to go out to the car every time.
You can take your car to a dealer or independent mechanic for something minor, like an oil & filter change, which dealers for about $80, and BMW dealers can check the records of all service done at BMW and advise you on what needs to be done, whether there, DIY, or independent mechanic. Oil and liquids (brake, cooling, differential, transmission) fluids are critical to a BMW. Do not try to save money on those or tires or brakes or suspension parts. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your 335i!

if you care about your car I would change oil every 5000 miles. use 5w40.
transmission fluid change and spark plug change at 60k. otherwise theres really not much to worry about in the meantime. |
