Changing ATF and Diff fluid! Advice?
So its about time to change the fluids in the drivetrain. Im considering Redline D4 ATF, as Mr. 5 himself used it and reported no issues. Heres the kit:
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-assemble...17571217~lv2r/ Im also looking into changing out the rear differential fluid for Redline Shockproof. Not much research done yet, but Im out for some of your thoughts. Im definitely changing ATF fluid, but is the differential fluid ok at 110k miles? Personal experiences welcome. |

Im assuming you have the ZF transmission from the kit you are looking at. Cant hurt...the filter is in the pan on that one.... Filling my GM tranny is a beeotch...no fill tube, gotta do it from under a running car...fun
I keep checking my diff fluid and bought some....but it smells and looks fine..so have not done it yet. remember, make sure you can get the fill plug loose before you drain the fluid! JP |
