Another one of these - Raced a Tuned MK6 GTI
First I need to note this was on a closed track.
I know this probably isn't as exciting as my previous post about the GT + Camaro.. but nonetheless it's the backstory. So, I know someone who owns a MK6 GTI and he was pretty oblivious about cars in my opinion. When I was stage 1 tuned he swore he could beat me, which is ridiculous, but now that I went stage 2 MHD with downpipes he still wanted to race. I was mindblown as to why he wanted to race. I ran into him, and he tried me so I said he could have the hit + 1 car length. He went when I wasn't even at 40, which was irrelevant. Around 115 I was already about 7-8 cars ahead. Just satisfied I shut him up and destroyed him with the 335i. |

I don't race except for the occasional going with your friends somewhere and having a little fun with traffic and time in mind but a APR tuned GTi with APR Stage _ badge was so hesitant and kept taunting to do a roll race. I ignored until I was like eh why not. Humbled him and left him a good bus length back. Would've been more if I kept going.
I'm stock btw. |

Coming out of a town on the way home I had a polo wrc pull up next to me (I was on my Orem performance tune) I thought that I would just toy with him and stay just a head. When the light turned we got on it and he started to pull on me.. Totally took me by surprise. At about 120mph I pulled up and left him. If I had hit it hard from the start I would have eaten him up.. At this point I decided to put my other tune back on..
This was done on a public road in Germany where it was safe to do so.

For some reason all my friends that have GTIs think they can easily beat a tuned 335

Raced a tuned and big turboed Porsche 996 and he had me by 2 car links at 60mph. His car has 550+hp... The 335i held its own.

"Lengths" = measurement of distance.
