Recently fitted DCT Paddle Shifts to my car and getting a remap this Sunday so I'm looking to make the gearbox to catch up with the rest of the power train

Who do you recommend to flash my gearbox? My car is a 2009 N47 Auto

Have a look on the forums here, do a search for XHP flash tool. You need and OBD cable, USB otg adaptor for your phone and an Android device.
You can then do it yourself, I flashed the stage 3 gearbox map on mine, very very happy with it. Their stage 1 is apparently the same as the Alpina flash. Lots of happy customers in the thread.

They don't do the N47 unfortunately

What engine and spec is your car Buddy?

How would you describe the changes as I've been concerned that a stage 3 will be harsh?

Any change in terms of mpg?

Mines a 325D on a 2008, so the early engine. It's not harsh in normal drive, but once in sport, you do notice the quicker changes.
I've had an engine remap to go with it, my mpg has taken a but only about 2mpg and that's probably because I'm enjoying the car more
