Custom steering wheel design

Hello to all,

After scoring a nice M-Tech wheel on eBay for what I consider to be cheap I decided that I wanted to do a little custom design.

I was recommended this seller on eBay by a member that got his wheel done by him.

After a few exchanges he told me I could chose any design from his shop and he could modify my wheel.

So I did a little photoshop from 2 designs that he offers.

I'll attach Pics of what the steering wheel look like now and what the final product should look like.

I'm thinking of going leather and Alcantara, flat top/bottom

Tell me what you guys think.

Leather with alcantara is the way to go. Much like the M Perf v2 wheel. Like the flat bottom as well.

Info on pricing when you pull the trigger. I'm very interested in that last pic. I've been searching for a nice flat bottom wheel like the ones in the S model Audis for a while now.

I just did the same, it's fantastic. thick, comfortable, much more ergonomic, and great to hold. bonus is it's a super easy swap. maybe 30-45 minutes.

How close is the blue strip to the strip on the 2 dash pieces? Can you PM me and tell me who you used and was it a regular M sport wheel as the core? Thanks!

Looks like the v2 his more flat in the front, not round like usual wheels?

it's a different material so it's going to look different slightly but as close as one can get it, i'd imagine. i didn't use anyone rather purchased from the great folks at getbmwparts.com for the cheapest price. it's an OEM v2 m performance steering wheel.
