BMW E90 Before and After H&R Sport Lowering Springs

Decided to lower my car a little bit so I bought these H&R Springs and got them installed. They perform great and give the car a sportier look.

Yeah, I've been running H&R's coupled with KONI yellows for about 3-4 years and they're GTG! A nice conservative drop of about 1.5" all around. You'll here "coilovers" a zillion times here, you know, "If you want to do them right", but for a daily? No. H&R's and good struts are sufficient. Your ride looks straight Ninja OP, great job.

I've been running an H&R cup kit for a few months now. Perfect drop in my opinion. Honestly not even looking to do coilovers at any point soon. Probably just upgrade shocks once the the H&Rs go out.

It's a set of springs pre matched with shocks. Comes as a package.

H&R didn't do much for me. It didn't get rid of the reverse rake and the spring rates weren't all that much stiffer than stock.

Whereas the Tein springs have stiffer spring rates and felt sportier and slightly less body-roll than the above. You could really tell the difference between the 2 when you threw the car into corners. I don't see myself paying for H&R springs again.

Would like to add that matching springs w/ appropriate shocks also makes a difference so if you're complaining your H&R/Teins/etc springs aren't comfy, get proper shocks. Any upgrade to springs needs to be handled with an upgrade in shocks. On our 4th E90 at the moment with different trials of suspension and brakes.
