Back in an E90
Hi All,
It was last year that I sold my LCI E91 335i and I've not regretted it every day, but it was a brilliant car and perhaps, with hindsight, I should have kept hold. However, the lure of an F31 335i was strong, so I bought a nearly new one. Whilst the tech, space and overall feel of the car was brilliant, I felt that the way it drove wasn't a patch on the E91. I gave it enough time to impress, and even drove a 320d, 330d and 340i (which were similarly numb) to see if it was just my car. It wasn't. The F series, at least in non-M3/4 spec just isn't as good a drivers car as the E9*. The hunt for another E9* was on. 3 weeks ago, I found what I'd been looking for. It needed a proper sort out, but essentially it was the right car. One weekend spent polishing later and............... Jerez black looks ace in the sun, and for that 10 minutes it's clean after a wash! |

Beautiful.
Glad to see it's a LCI one too.

I can relate 100%! Having been in E90 6 years ago and a year later F30 Manual, F30 Auto, F30 M-Sport and now back in an E90 - and the solidity in the E90 compared to the F30 is no match.
Driving experience in the E90 for is better because the car feels much better built. The money saving exercise in the F30 really shows if you own both for a while. That car you've got there is awesome, love the colour and really something to keep as long as you can and in as good as possible nic! Congrats. |

Do fancy some 18's. Had them as winters on my M3CS and wish I'd not sold them. Spec wise, I have extended leather, piano black individual trim, individual audio, heated seats, sunroof, folding mirrors, high beam assist, DAB, universal remote control, rear blind and more. Great spec really.

E90 has better handling the Fx series unless you spend mega silly money on Fx series to bring it to e9x standard form.
Been to f1x and drove f30 few time. Will not hesitate to say that e9x is better driving machine!
