So for a while I've used Photobucket to host pictures I imbed in posts on various websites. Today I get an email saying I can't do that without a premium membership. Anyone got another hosting site they like?

I got the same and noticed pics going dead in various build threads and other posts across the forum. So I'm curious too.

I love Flickr (www.flickr.com). No quality loss, but free members are capped to 1000GB (still a lot).

Otherwise Imgur is free (www.imgur.com).

You can just put the picture in your post. Linked images are a pain for forum users, especially when photos disappear because they are no longer on the hosted site. Bimmerpost makes it easy to add the photos to your post.

The only down side to posting an image using the forum image posting feature is when you reply to someone post with a picture the image does not show up in the reply.

Absolutely - it is really annoying to see the same picture in a thread 20 times because people replied to the post

Photobucket is the worst free hoster and is only used by people who dont know otherwise...
