Front brake pad replacement / upgrade recommendations

Hi there
I have an E91 335d, remapped, hollow exhaust and water injection. It’s coming up to needing new front pads so I was wondering what people recommend as a minor upgrade.
I have had EBC Yellow Stuff pads on a previous E36 and they were excellent, performed well and a fraction of the dust which is handy when I don’t have time to wash my car frequently.
Thanks in advance.

Ferodo DS2500's are very good indeed. Zero fade on track too!

I have yellowstuffs too.

Work like oem on the road. On track no fade and more importantly not overheating. With OEM I had to cool the brakes every 5 ish laps and was still left with nasty deposits. However with the yellowstuffs I only had to slow down to cool the tyres down and save fuel.

Nice one thanks for the feedback so far, they both sound like a step in the right direction and are probably quite similar. I'll do some more research in to both now and see if I can find a comparison somewhere.

Garage List
Do some braided hoses & a quality brake fluid change (ATE superblue is my personal favourite). Watch the low temp performance of the DS3000's as they are a competition-spec pad; the DS2500's are much better suited for road & track use. The squeal from either set will drive you crazy in town, but they're magnificent pads under pressure.

Do these pads allow the use of the wear sensors?

Akebono brake pads are worth a look.

I have been running them on my car for quite some time now and am very happy with their performance. They also produce very little brake dust.

If your going to put something 'special' on the front it'd be wise to put the same on the rears.

I've got EBC red stuff ceramics & I think they're very good, very little dust & they work very well from cold.

Good morning, I didn't know Akebono pads were easily availble in the UK, thought it was an American thing! All good though.
I did a few more searches to see other car forums comparing DS2500's to YellowStuff, and the newer posts sway a bit more towards YellowStuff, that plus me having had them before means I will give them a go now.
Thanks for all the thoughts on the matter, noted on changing the rears too but they are fairly new standard pads so I will wait until they need changing. I like the sound of braided hoses too but I am trying not to over-spend right now. As much as a mortgage is the cheapest borrowing you'll ever do, I am keen to pay it off sooner rather than later.

Pagid do an RS "fast road" pad that should be very good. I've been using various race pads including endurance ones for years and have alway been very impressed. Expensive but worth it. Whats great is that they have different pads for different applications.

Tried the Ferrodo mentioned above on my sports car and thought they were not brilliant. Not too squeeky but vast amounts of dust and poor inconsistent feel. IMO.
