Have you guys read up on this?? I think its an awesome deal. For $2,000 a month (covers everything but gas) you can drive amongst eight vehicles, including the Boxster, Cayman S, Cayenne and Macan S. You can take a different car everyday of the week and start over after your done with the 8th variation. For $3,000 a month, you get the 911 and Panameras along with GTS versions of Caryman's and other for a total of 22 models.

The catch ..... Its only in Atlanta for time being. I think I would give up the X5 50i for this plan. I really wanted a second sports car but didnt it in the budget. For $2,000 a month which includes tax, title, insurance, detailing, maintenance and unlimited mileage, I dont think its any different than just leasing one X5 50i.

Well I dont know about the rest of you guys but I dont drive two cars at the same time. Therefore if I wanted a Cayenne S and a Boxster S each would be each about $1,000 a month leases and that doesnt take in consideration maintenance, detailing and Insurance. If I needed a larger car for a day then I pickup a Cayenne S then drop off and pickup a Cayman S after that.

Cadillac has a similar program. It includes insurance costs, maintenance, unlimited mileage, delivery to your door. $1,500/month.

Not a great deal for 2,000 IMO. A 911 gts would be, but not a Boxter or Cayman S. Could get those for a lot less than that (probably less than $1,500) fully loaded (including insurance).

I dont know if you are getting the point that you are not limited to one car. Most people keep quoting the lease of one car but you have 8 at your disposal to drive however, wherever and whenever you want without a worry about insurance, detailing, maintenance, warranty etc and car is dropped off at your home.

The numbers will never justify it. It seems like a luxury for people who want the flexibility but don’t care about paying a steep premium. I could buy a Cayman and a Macan for less than $2k/mo and still have money left over for a 5 Series. I see no point in this program, but I’m driven by numbers.

Could be something nice to do for a couple months; but long term i'm afraid i'd get bored over time to always trying to remember the functions of every car; that plus i'd end up with crazy expensive tastes.

For $1400 a month I am driving a 135is and a Corvette Stingray. And I’m not stuck with a single brand. They are at my house and I’m not waiting for them to be delivered....I’m not sure what the value proposition is. For $2k a month I can own 2-3 Porsche’s....if 3, they might be CPOs, 2could be brand new.

It's an interesting deal for someone who likes to drive different cars. I'm too conservative to change cars every week or to wait for someone to drop off a car to my house. I have family and kids and I NEED to know that any minute I can jump into my car and go. I'm avoiding dealer trips as a plague and I can only imagine what a nightmare it would be to deal with that program on a constant basis and i think there will be issues coming up often - if not with cars themselves, then with insurance, maintenance, payments, drop offs etc.

I also don't consider anything but 911 as something worthy of that trouble, but that's just me. Maybe for someone a Boxter is a fascinating car - people are different - can't blame them

I'm happy with my loaded 50i V8 CPO that I finance for $700 - i just don't see point to pay extra $1300 for a Boxter Bring in 911s and then that deal starts to look good

Cayman S minimum is a $70k car, Macan S minimum $60k. Those are with very little options too. That is well over $2k month with current interest rates. Porsche lease rates are awful too. I doubt that it would be much of a better scenario.

One perk it is a monthly service, so you can cancel anytime. Unlike purchasing or leasing.

From what I gather it is an app. You choose the car, time, place. They bring next car and pick up the one you were driving. There is no dealer visits. Planning road trip for weekend. Get car delivered to the office on Friday during lunch. Sounds convenient actually. I would consider a BMW program if priced accordingly and it included M models.

I like the concept.

When you factor in taxes, DMV fees, insurance, maintenance, etc. the break even gets much closer, and the convenience of not being tied into a long term contract is very appealing, plus no money up front means repurposing cash for other investments. Could be the future of car 'ownership'.

Worth noting there is a $500 activation fee as well. Any way you slice this, it doesn't math out to be a good deal.

If you bought a $70k Cayman S at a 60 month term around 4% interest, using a 7.25% tax, it'll net out to less than $1400/month with $0 down.

If you own two cars, suv and sports car...the math works out. You can’t drive both automobiles at the same time. One example, a single individual that owns two autos for summer/winter weather conditions. Or someone who lives in the city where parking is very limited and at times very expensive. Not everyone has parking for multiple cars. I could see scenarios where it works.

If you want to start talking about used cars...sure. But something like the brand new Cayenne, CPO’s are not even available. You would be guaranteed the lastest in Porsche tech and driving experience.

This makes sense for anyone in a heavily congested city.

I don't need a car day-to-day. Only on weekends or planned trips. It is way to much of a hassle to maintain a car in the city (when something breaks my entire day is gone), street parking is a pain in teh a$$, garage parking is cheapest $450 / month, insurance is killer...

All depends on where you live. I would never do this if I lived in suburbs or country.

OK fair enough but how much on top of that do you pay for insurance, license plates and maintenance a month? You're getting a lot closer to 2K a month now.
