M-Technic Steering Wheel Swap
Hey guys, have a quick question...and I have tried repeated searches.
I have a 2011 E90 sedan with cold weather package. It currently has the stock non-sport wheel / heated option (which I know cannot be swapped). I purchased an E90 M-Technic wheel (32307839114) and will need to piece together the rest of the items. I know I need a round / sport airbag. Will any E90 round airbag do or will it need to be specific years? Also, the multi-function buttons...the non-sport wheel does not have the square inserts to fit the sport wheel / bezel. I don't think I can directly swap my non-sport buttons over. Where can I find the sport multi-function buttons and again, do these need to be year specific? Thanks guys! |

The most recent airbag revision as of 01/2017:
P/N 32306884672 Be absolutely 100% sure the airbag that you get is that part number. You don't want to accidentally get a pre-Takata bag. |

I have navigation. These ECS buttons look identical to mine but ECS says they are only for E90s, up to 3/2010 and without navigation. Is there a difference between the ECS buttons and my current stock buttons?
ECS Multifunction buttons: (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...s/61319125343/) And here are the current buttons on my wheel... |

pianoman90 there are a host of buttons that look almost 100% identical, but BMW states different fitment, we base our fitment on what BMW says. If you need help sourcing the buttons shoot me a PM with some info on your car and I'll take a look at etk.

Dumb question, but where do you find the part number on the airbag itself? I'm looking at one now and can't figure out where the part number is.
