I really can't decide on exhaust
My 06 320d has the standard dangly dick type backbox which I absolutely detest as it really ruins the look of the car. So, I have 2 options.
Backbox delete with twin 3" tails in the standard spot, or dual 4" like the 335i (already have the diffuser in the shed). Now I've listened to multiple youtube vids and cannot hear any difference between the two. It seems to make more of a difference if the centre section has also been removed (which I am also considering). Place close to me does the following: Twin 3" for £109.99 s-l1600 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr s-l1600 (1) by Phil Cookson, on Flickr Coupled with centre section at £45.00 s-l1600 (2) by Phil Cookson, on Flickr Or, 335i style which is just backbox delete for £225.00 2017-11-02_02-49-56 by Phil Cookson, on Flickr Now, I do like the look of the 335i style, but keep getting a niggling in my head that it isn't a 335i/d and I should go for the standard looking twin instead. i do like the look of the 335. However if its not a 335 whats the point making it look like one
But thats just me. If i were in your shoes i would go for the single twin |

Tbh if you have a 330i / 330d you can get away with a twin in my opinion. Our cars are hardly that much slower than a 335 especially if you've had it DPF / Mapped etc.

Bottom line: It's entirely subjective so if you like it and want it, go for it. |

i vote 335i style, as long as you don't have a 335i badge its cool!
With regards to sound, i don't think there is anyway to make our diesels sound good without deleting various parts of the exhaust like DPF. |

I had the OEM Performance twin exhaust on my 20d and it looked great. Made virtually no difference to the sound though, but I wouldn't expect it to.
I agree with those saying avoid the dual exhaust, of course it's entirely subjective but IMO a four cylinder diesel just can't pull this off... even though the G30 520d attempts to! |

Yeah, think I am going to go for the standard twin type, but muffler delete. Maybe go for the centre section too, as that should add a little noise and free it up
