Hi,

I'm one of the lucky winner of the fall BMW recall campaign regarding the "blow-by heater". Going to BMW for an appointment today. Might look for a PE Exhaust while I'm there

Question: Are you concerned too by that recall?

Oh, yep mine has both recalls. Not mad about some free parts.

Went to the dealer, the part is unavailable... They're manufacturing it!

Not sure why people are going to dealers. All of the articles I've read have stated they won't be replacing anything until December.

Damn Canadians think they're soooo special and can get recalls done before the rest of the world. I'm jess keeding!

You'd think that with the massive number of recalls on these chassis that we'd all be experts on the process at this point. LOL

OP, it normally takes many moons before we even got the recall letter from any vehicle manufacturer, and many more moons before the dealership has the part available to perform the replacement.
