Replaced my coils and plugs... dang!!!
Guys, I ended up replacing my coils and spark plugs last Saturday. Everything went fine but wanted to share an experience. After replacing coils and plugs noticed 1 or 2 plugs with lots of oil on threads probably due to a leaky valve cover gasket which I know I need to replace. Anyways, after starting car lots of white/bluish smog came out from exhaust, I mean my whole garage was full of smoke... I was freaking out for a minute but then I figured it was oil that dripped inside the cylinder when I removed them ( I searched online for this). After a couple of minutes all the oil burned out and everything was back to normal.
My plugs were bad and had black all around them, most likely due to bad coils. Cheers... |

I know 2 bolts of my valve cover are broken. I can pull them off with my hand... but this will stop soon... Last edited by GoRomeo; 11-13-2017 at 06:09 PM.. |
