2007 e92 335i won't start
Sorry for syntax and grammar issues.
No crank, just getting a click and whirring noise. Tried taking the IBS sensor off like some people have suggested online, but that did not work. I'm not even sure if I did it correctly. Pictures of my battery situation after unplugging the IBS sensor are below, also a picture of wire that is just loose and I have no idea where it goes is pictured. The final picture is the wire that connects to the starter from the CAS. The wire seems like it's corroded, but I can't tell. Thoughts, please? Forgot to mention that it is a fairly new battery, also here are the INPA codes I am getting A6C8, 93AC, 2E69, 3100, 2C7F, 604E, 604F, 6050, A08C, A0AC, 5E1A, 5DF4, 5E52, A36B, A0b4, DE84, A670, E18D, ABD2, 9ECF, 9CBD, 9CBE, 9CC1 View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com Last edited by hurleypatrick; 11-18-2017 at 03:17 PM.. Reason: Added INPA codes and mentioned my battery was changed a couple weeks back |

The orange wire coming of the main positive terminal looks
like somebody's attempt to get power to something aftermarket.(never have seen anything like that exposed before) electical e90 pdf http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...,d.cGU&cad=rja http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...85464276,d.cGU http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...85464276,d.cGU There is one loose small wire that. is normal. Its used to keep the car in deep sleep while shipping. |

Order of common things that stop start.
Battery is low and IBS stops the car from starting dissconnect BSD cable from IBS and give it a try . Battery is Bad IBS is bad starter is bad ground strap to engine has gone restistive (check voltage in engine bay at starter. bypass ground strap from engine to chassis with jumper cables to test) After that the hard stuff fuel spark timing electronics going bad If those don't find it time for a BMW Code reader or coding setup and software. Always make sure the battery is strong before jumping to any conclusions. Last edited by ctuna; 11-18-2017 at 03:48 PM.. |
