This is always my favorite event of the year. I'm considering getting the VIP package. Anyone else thinking of going?

I expect to go this year. I am ashamed to say that despite living less than 10 minutes from the track I have never been to the Mitty, but something always seems to get in the way. Not this time though.

Bringing this back as we get closer. Quick question to those in the know... What is the ultimate benefit of getting the VIP tickets? I'll be bringing my pops along with me and from what I can tell the VIP package gets your car in "special" places. Curious If I get the VIP and my dad gets the regular tickets if he's going to be left out on some things (don't see any reason to get him a VIP since he'll be riding with me).

This sounds great!! But I'm out of town this weekend. I'll go next year as I'm in the process of moving to ATL, and will be only 30ish min from the track. Much close than I am to mid Ohio now...
