What's consensus in side blades w/o front splitter

Thinking about getting the m performance side blades but not a fan of the front splitters. Do the blades look out of place with out a splitter? Any pics of blades only. Ty

I'm with you, I think the BMW front msport splitter cheapens the car in general
I kind of like the Vorsteiner one though

Yea that's not bad.

I don't know though. The stock front end has a lot going on as is. I love the blades though. Just not seeing anyone run the blades with out a splitter though. Would love to see pics.

Have you considered a Magic Drift lip? More subtle than the MP splitter, cheaper, and still coordinates well with the MP blades.

It looks silly because the front does not line up with the sides. The extension are about 15 to 20mm thick. Just my oppinion

Can't say I disagree that the difference in thickness is noticable, and it did weigh into my decision of the MD lip vs MP. I measured the blade at ~1/2" vs the MD lip at ~3/4", so a difference of only 1/4" or 6 mm. However the fact that the MP splitter looks so disconnected from the middle of the front bumper from some angles bothers me more. I think the flush installation of the MD lip is a point in its favor. But to each his own... Nice to have options.

Sorry that response was for the OP not you. Yours looks fine. Just as long as the OP has any lip it will tie in

I got ahold of a broken M-Performance front lip from a fellow board member, dremeled off the middle, and painted it myself.

Gotta respect a unique DIY solution. Well done! I assume by your username and car color that you're a Florida Gator fan. I graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2008. Go Gators!

Yes. I am considering it.

Just not in love with a front splitter on these cars.
