DRL went out in my f36 xenon headlights

my right side DRL went out, looking to get it replaced now but a little confused. do i just replace the ds1 bulb and im good? i know ds1 is for high beam, does it control low beam as well?

no i didnt yet, car still under warranty so im going to bring it in. i called my local dealership and they said its not a bulb, they have to replace the led module which is a $500 part from bmw. btw, im talking about the angel eyes

Mine is out of warranty, that’s what it must be on mine, everything works perfectly just the angle eyes are out. Let me know how you get on with the dealership 👍🏻

yeah got it fixed under warranty, they had to change out the led module. apparently there was a leak in the seal causing corrosion
