In Need Of Major Help Code 2aa4!!!

Ive been struggle for the past months on trying to figure out my code that caused the car to go to limp mode and shuts off randomly and currently wont start

CODE: 2AA4, inlet camshaft sensor, tooth failure

I replaced the following:
- camshaft ledge rectarings
- vanos solenoids
- camshaft position sensors
- oil change with filter
- timing chain tensioner
- valve cover gasket
- Spark plugs
- Cleaned the injectors

I bought a n54 timing tool set with the dummy tensioner and re did the timing 3 times already, with new oem bolts for the cam sprockets

Also the cam gear physically isn't damaged but i'm considering buying a new one at this point but its a $500 risk

So much time and money has went in so far and i'm starting to give up if anyone can please suggest anything i would highly appreciate it thank you
