08 E92 AUX to USB
Going to see and possibly buying an 08 335i, it doesn't have USB, only an AUX port.
If I buy an AUX to USB cable, then connect my lighting cable will the phone still charge and play music, or will I need to buy another cable? |

I like the idea of the Bluetooth audio receivers, but I usually am charging my phone in the car anyway (6S Plus). FYI these act as a separate bluetooth connection and go through the 1/8 headphone jack to the AUX, not to the car's non-music Bluetooth link.
I currently run an AUX cable and lightning separately, but something I was thinking about was using one of these: belkin 3.5mm audio + charge rockstarin the armrest with my 12V -> USB charger, and 1/8 headphone -> AUX, while running a single lightning extension cable out of the armrest to my dash mount. Kinda a hack job but would be a single cable to the user. |
