Ik i search but can't find a definitive answer. Hav a 2011 335i with stock 18in staggered set up. I'm trying to figure out what's the widest one can go.

235 front, 265 rear.
Anything wider than that is likely to rub.

Interestingly the e90 can fit slightly wider tires than the e92.

Nope.

FYI: Next time you have a wheel/tire question, the "Wheels and Tires" forum down below probably has the answer, or it's better to ask questions like this there.

Someone said 235F, 265R. Think you can actually go 245 front, but it's somewhat hard to get a set within 1% circumference in that size.

The e90's Speedo is off 3-4mph to begin with. Just code the speedo correction on your stalk with Carly, and you'll be fine.

Typically speaking:

235/40/18 - front
255/35/18 - rear

Should be able to find those sizes in almost any Continental, Goodyear or Michelin.

Alternate :

245/40/18 - front
265/35/18 - rear

Your rear rims would need to be at least 8.5" wide to accommodate the 265 width.

With profiles of 35 & 30, the roads you drive on need to be good & great condition year round or your begging for busted tires and broken rims, in my opinion.

The Michelin A/S 3 plus is the very best AS tire for our cars. Continental DWS 06 is a solid 2nd.

Summer tires / lots of debates, but most people here like the Michelin's. The new 4S has good initial reviews.

I need help, I just purchased 19” staggered wheels F19x8.5 & R19x9.5 both ET35. Could I run a 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 or does the rear have to be 265/30/19. stock everything too. but i’m trying to go as wide as possible but with the least effects.

sorry for about that it’s a 2008 bmw 335xi. i really want to go with 275 rears so 245s in the front would work? I seen some people say 235 in the front but i’m confused. and is 235/265 the overall best outcome for stock?

I think you might need to roll your fenders in the rear, if you went with 275.

as long as you have even a relatively good performing tire, I see absolutely no reason why ANY driver would need 245's on the front of their e90 unless they plan to turn their local streets into a track.

Yep. If he wants to track the car and get 245 in the front & 275 in the rear, the OP is going to have to roll the fenders out.

I know for a fact with a coupe even in 19" rims you will be fine. On a sedan, Idk.
