Lol your shop hasn't even started it. There are no bolts or rivets on the body work back there that would only be available in Germany.

Find a new shop. If they are truly ordering bolts from Germany, you're getting ripped off.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Lol you got it easy bud between my warranty company and my shop my cars been in the shop 3 and a half MONTHS... Brought it to them cause it was smoking at stops, took them a month and a half to do the turbos through my warranty. First time he gave it back one of the shitty rebuilt turbos were bad, couple weeks later he gives it back with 2 brand new turbos and not even one full day passed before the engine started knocking and i had to take it back for them to put a used engine in. I should be getting it back tuesday but i know the feels bro

bmw just uses metric and torx bolts....all available at home depot.

just bs....like everyone said they probably havent even ordered the parts.

just go to a different shop

if there was body work that required 3 months of work, your insurance company wouldve just totaled your car
