Engine overhear
Hey ,
I got a problem with my car , when I drive on a highway ( fast ) my car wont over heat , but in city driving ( slow ) my engine would over heat , and my water temp would go like 15-125 then ill get engine over hear ( and yea ofcouse i would stop ) why ? cheers guys |

Codes? Warning lights? Losing any coolant? Sounds like a fan problem to me, given the highway vs city distinction.

Highway = more air cooling engine.
Do you hear the fan coming on when the car is at idle? Is it loud? Normally the fan spins somewhat slowly at idle once th car is wam, keeping the noise down. If the fan turns it is time for a new pump and thermostat. |
