Looking to powder coat f30 bbks Phoenix Yellow but it's not been easy to find a close powder match. As a last resort I can spray them with Expresspaint.com color match but I'd rather get powder on them. Has anyone found a close match? And if so from where?

Looks close but wasn't sure I should order and gamble on it.

I went ahead and had them done with that prismatic color. I'll post up how they look when they're done end of week!

Sweet! can't wait to see. I have a powder coating shop nearby. Are you doing any decals with a clear?

Yeah waiting on the high temp vinyl decals to show before they go to clear coat. Hoping I get them today

One of mine Performance calipers got damaged and coating seem to be ceramic as to be expected in order to withstand high temperatures and brake cleaning solvents. If only powder coated if you clean them with brake cleaner spray the coating will come off. So maybe try ceramic clear or 1k if not 2k clear coat.

Still there. Just like any shop I ever deal with they take weeks longer than they tell me. I'm also trying to get them ceramic clear gloss coated since regular gloss clear isn't great for calipers but the shop doesn't shoot liquid application.

I'm about to just coat them Ceramic VHT clear gloss and be done with it.

I'm about to just coat them Ceramic VHT clear gloss and be done with it.

That's what I'd recommend since it's taking so long. VHT Clear should do the job

Color match? You are misunderstanding. I'm talking about how these calipers come from factory. They don't color much there. If is only powder coating will not hold up well to cleaning agents and heat.

I thought when you said one of your calipers got damaged you had it repaired... so my logic was you had it painted and you were going to tell me what they used lol. I see now

Very happy with the results! Just need to clear them with the vinyl stickers. I'd say it's a very close match!

I like it! Difficult to see through pictures and try to compare to PY in my head but interested to see what the clear will do.

Looks very close. Slightly green imo but that's just me nit picking. Still needs the clear!

Ceramic VHT Caliper clear gloss darkened them up very close to match. Hope to get them installed tomorrow.
