Custom alcantara trim reupholstery

So after accidentally purchasing two M4 centre console trims, I decided to re-trim one with alcantara (the original leather was badly damaged anyway).

First attempt at sewing since high school (9/10 years ago) - apart from one stitch that went a little off track I felt like it was quite a success..

Good job for so little experience

I'm guessing you stitched by hand instead of machine?

Just left off my M4 console at local upholstery shop to have that pad done in black alcantara with M Tri-stitch to match my armrest

I never even entertained the thought of doing it myself

Thanks!

I did it via my sisters machine haha, spent al day fixing it as it was broken originally which gave me the idea.

Ah awesome, definitely share some photos once it's back I'd love to see it
