Looking forward to this race! Nice to see there won't be any grid penalties for RIC *knock on wood* and we get some good racing.

Also interesting to see how Mercedes' tire choice differs from the other teams, I guess they're more comfortable betting on the life Ultrasoft over the Hypersoft.

Fantastic track, a modern classic!
I'll always remember watching Kubica's insane crash live on tv.

That wreck was nuts and I was 100% sure at the time he was a goner. Amazing safety those cars have.

If you've never seen this before, it's a pretty rare view of the accident. I think it captures the speed of the car much better than the traditional TV camera shots/angles.

Is it me, or does Mercedes hasn't got a clue on how to use those HyperSofts?

They went just as fast on those Hyper's as they did on the Ultra's, and Hamilton just keeps locking up the Hyper's.

I'll be more likely to applaud him if he and everyone around him manage to make it past Turn 3 on the first lap.

Bottas seems to have done alright. I think Ham is having a bit of an off year when it comes to quali.

1-Max is on the fastest tires from the top 5 .
2-Bottas can not handle the stress on P2 .
3-The Mercs struggle with their tires on warm asphalt.
4-VET and the Ferrari's are improved.
5-HAM is this season the question mark (something is wrong with him)

I see today MAX on the podium !

What a borefest. F1 need to get their act together.

No overtakes on this fine track, how is that even possible?

Tragically boring race. My first race I attended live. Left the grandstand 20 laps in to walk around and check out the views from various general admission spots.

Ultra softs used to degrade a bit quicker and supersofts didnt have quite as much grip, right? Kill the hyper soft and go back to that. This nursing the tires shit isn’t racing.

The Sky Sports programming...I found tedious to watch. The camera work was terrible. And the race was a chore to watch.
I miss Bernie Ecclestone and I never thought I’d say that.
The broadcast was so bad I watched it just to see if anyone there was wearing pleated pants.

Article 43.2:
The article states: “Should for any reason the end-of-race signal be given before the leading car completes the scheduled number of laps, or the prescribed time has been completed, the race will be deemed to have finished when the leading car last crossed the [finishing] line before the signal was given."
Race concluded on lap 68...weird.

You can thank the nonsense engine regulations for this.

The camera work is F1 not Sky. Everybody gets the same feed. But I agree that somebody should swat brundlefly. And it was a bore fest.
