Dashcam Installer

Anyone can recommend a reliable and reputable dashcam installer in the UK?

I would need to hardwire the kit to the car battery/fusebox.

I'm in Bromley, but happy to drive up to 4/5 hours for the right installer.

Very easy to do yourself.

On mine I got 2x 5m long usb cables. These you can run along the edges of the car by simply pressing them into the caps.

A double usb 5v outlet

A cigarette lighter socket

Add a circuit fuse tap

I soldered my wires but you can get the crush (crimp) down connectors now. Just a set of plyers will do. Then press the patch into the fuse board and place the earth side under the screw next to the fuse board.

I know not everyone is up for doing it but I thought I'd post the info for anyone who wants to try.

+1 As above - do this yourself it's very easy.

I personally fed the wire around to the fusebox behind the glove compartment and tapped into a fuse which turns off with ignition. From memory it was the parking sensor fuse.
