Amazon Prime Day!
Let the Shopping begin!
Already off to a great start... Just picked up the RING Doorbell v2 from the local Treasure Truck for $139. More to come...

I'm with you. Didn't realize the ring doorbell was an amazon product. I got a dot last year and it is hands down the least used thing in my house. I used it to connect to my sound bar and play music while working around the house but that's about it. I've considered getting the home bundle business but I haven't got to the point where I need to turn lights off without moving yet.

Amazon has worked like a champ all day. Now that I am able to shop said prime day deals, their site is all screwy. Damn you amazon! I must now find other means of time-wastery.

Obviously with all of the world wide publicity of Prime Day, the app is definitely strained. I'm using my PC with better results.

I looked briefly at a few pages of deals. Still seems like a bunch of random stuff they want to sell but I don't want to buy. Just like last year and the year before that.

Lots of random stuff...
Prime day is just the stuff Amazon sells to clear out their warehouses of all the odds and ends they have. Very rare that I find anything of value in Prime Day sales.

Probably but definitely NOT all. I've grabbed a few items I can use like extra external drives with several TB's of storage. And more. Just have to search...

Nothing but garbage is on there. Last year had some odds and ends that I bought just because they were under $10 but the rest of the stuff now is just crap they need to move out.

I used to spend a lot of money and Amazon. I'm trying to restrict myself not to buy too much junk I don't need. Don't buy anything just because it is on sale.
Having said this, the following video summarizes my latest toughts: |
