How do I edit “My Garage” on the MyBMW website?
Does anyone know if it is possible to edit the vehicles in "My Garage" on the MyBMW website. I want to delete one of my previously owned vehicles but cant seem to find a way to do that. Thanks!
On a side note, have they recently re-designed the website? I remember logging in a over a year ago and it looked nothing like it does now. I've been living under a rock until word of the S55 equipped M2C dropped. It's good to be back. |

I work in IT and trust me things are not perfect anywhere in IT world but BMW web site is lacking in quality so much. It would not pass a basic quality check.

I kinda feel Hilary Clinton's pain... but can't relate. She never lobbied for clarification on the wheel colors for the M2C

Let me tell you my story about this website in the past few weeks. I have a 2010 m3 in my garage, along with the cars I own. I don’t have nor ever owned a m3. I saw a 335xi under the financial section, along with that person’s financial info. Obviously I didn’t try, but am pretty sure I could have made a payment for them. Numerous times I’ve tried to login and it either failed or fell into an endless loop of the website reloading.
I’ve called, I’ve wrote, and I’m relieved that they removed the 335xi, but I have no confidence that my information is protected. Far as I know, someone else could have access to my account. They acknowledged problems with the site, but the lack of improvements is concerning. |

I was told that you can add a car but they are "working on" the delete function.

Haha I should have been more clear. It was linked to his bank account, not mine. Essentially I would have been paying his bill with his money. It was really weird. Luckily that part has been solved.

The MyBMW website is garbage. Their whole system outdated. They had to open a ticket because I wasnt able to add my F80 to my garage and it's been months and it still isn't resolved. When I wanted to set up a recurring payment, they needed me to fill out a hard doc. No online option and no esign.

If you have a custom-order car being built, the production status feature has much more current status than the automated number. As far as I can tell, it is updated daily and has the current status as of the moment it is updated. (some time in the middle of the night)
Correction: It seems to be updated more frequently - maybe real-time. Yesterday, my car was in status 150 (confirmed by call to BMW genius). This morning, it was in body ship (151) when I looked online and 3 hours later, it had changed to paint shop (152). Last edited by rak299; 07-24-2018 at 02:33 PM.. Reason: more info available |
