2nd gear hard to engauge?

mine has been hard from the start. i thought it would go away after break-in but i only have 11 more miles. is something wrong?

Mine was also very hard from the start, and it took almost 3 times the break-in kmīs until the tranny really loosened up.
Donīt think you have anything to worry about, itīll just get better and better... If it doesnīt, talk to your dealer.

Same happened here, it starts loosing up after time, nothign to worry about. Keep on

Mine doesn't seem too tight. I just put a small amount of pressure, and wait for the rpm's to drop to the sweet spot, and it just pops right in.

no problems with mine but the diesel gearbox might be a bit different from the petrol...

E90Fleet might know... ?

I would give it some time as it's still breaking in. Come 1,500-2,000 miles and it's still reluctant to engage than I would have it inspected.
