P10EA Ambient Air Temperature Too High
2011 N55 335 Xdrive
Driving back from Calgary noticed the outside temp is off the scale at +49.5c. Then CEL came on. Torque app on my phone says P10EA Ambient Air Temperature Too High when it reads the code. Car is driving completely ok. Anything to worry about? CEL lights annoy / worry me. |

I think it is the temperature sensor from the front bumper. If it is not fixed in the bumper and touch the coolant radiator, it can reads false temperature.

Thanks guys. I just had the front bumper etc replaced after a collision...so maybe something wasn't put on correctly or has come loose? Think i'll take it back and have them look at it.
