Just bought a 2011 with under 5000 miles

I just picked up 2011 328i with just 4700 miles. Bought it from a tow yard that took ownership after it sat there a couple of years...Yep, someone abandoned a nearly new BMW with no lien. Got the Carfax and had BMW of Fairfax check it out and change all the fluids. So far it's showing no signs of suffering mechanically from having sat for so long, so I'm feeling lucky to have a nearly new 7-year old car.

Super happy to be back in a Bimmer since I sold by Z4M and moved back to the States. This is not the sports car the M is, but it's still relatively fun as a cheap automatic to commute in DC traffic with... and I love a NA straight 6!

And one of the old car to remember a fun day:

Nice... share about how much you paid for it?
Only other things I’d be a little concerned with, is the battery obviously... dry rot/flat spots on tires if sitting in the same spot, and then any gasket/seals drying out over time from sitting.
But other than those minor things, that is awesome! Great find! Enjoy it and drive it hard, these engines like to run. Inline 6 is so smooth!

The underside looks great. No rust to speak of other than stuff like the rotors having some surface rust. The paint shows that it sat outside unwashed for a while, but a good polish should take care of that easily.

Has new tires and new battery as they were both done for. Currently no leaks, but fingers crossed as the shakedown period continues.

I actually share the same story, except that my car was damaged in accident back in 2012's. Then it was shipped to Europe, Lithuania, and for some reason no one really worked on until now. So when I saw the deal, I immediately got carfax, also all the available information here, in Lithuania, and apparently, it's a real deal. Car with 5000*miles, and some work to be done (new side mirrors required, some paint job, and few plastic peaces for front bumper). I paid €10000 (which is about 12000$) for it, and I seem to be really happy about it as well.

There are. They only want $65k for them. But if you actually drive it it will be worth almost nothing.

Great deal
