Water/coolant in the driver door footwell

So I got a low coolant warning sign , just topped it off with distilled water and within hours the driver footwell is soaked with water. Could else here misting trickling water when driving with ac on? Cant see any visual leaks, also took the undercover off and left the car idle for 30mins . No drips on the floor, any suggestions?

Else the car has not been washed or drained on fyi.

Could be the evaporator/heater core is leaking/cracked. It is behind the dash in the center, look for anything coming from that area.

That's what's am worried about, am assuming the heater core runs water/coolant through it?

Yes, it's how you get hot air.

so is this the hose or the heater core? Has anyone replaced the hose and solved the problem? Does the dash need to be removed for this?

I can't tell for sure from your video but it appears that the leak is from where the hose fits on a heater core fitting (Plastic I presume?) and that any bumping/ jiggling of the hose causes drops to visibly leak.

Would need to carefully remove/cut away that hose (when you have a replacement available), and carefully inspect the tube/ fitting the hose is mounted on for any cracks or fatigue. With any luck, it is brittle plastic which can be reinforced by good epoxy like JB-Weld, without having to remove the old core. NOT the easiest thing to access -- hope you're lean, mean and ambidextrous.

Here is the TIS Procedure for replacing the "Heat Exchanger:"
