Driver Heated Seat not working

Recently, my driver's side heating module stopped working. When I push the warmers, the lights will appear for a second and you can hear a click but then it immediately shuts off. The passenger side works perfectly fine. I've seen a few threads about this same problem but I haven't really found a solution on those threads. Hoping someone can help me with it as it's almost winter and the mornings can get a little cold.

you'll need to remove seat, check all seat heating connectors and if this will not help, disassemble seat to see if heating mat have any breaks

damn I was honestly afraid of having to take the entire seat out lol. so when I do, I'm supposed to just look and see if all of the seat heating connectors are fine and still plugged in correctly? and then move on from there?

You can tip it back to inspect the bottom .
after removing the rail fasteners
Typical problem is broken wires from moving
back and forth.
Also if you remove connectors with the battery attached
you will incur a air bag error that requires external
resetting the error by a Scanner or BMW software and cable .

Thank you! I totally forgot that I needed to disconnect the battery. I'm gonna see if I can do it with just taking the rail fasteners out and hopefully I can find the problem there
